3M Vetcast Plus is a polyurethane resin impregnated fiberglass tape that has exceptional strength, superior conformability and is very lightweight. It is recommended for all general casting needs, rigid immobilization, and for longitudinal splint. It has exceptional strength to meet cast needs for both small and large animals. Since it is porous, it will allow the skin to breathe, helping to reduce itch and odor. Application is easy since it will stretch and conform to body contours. The curing time is 3-5 minutes with full weight-bearing support in 20 minutes.
